Starting Line v1.0 - Readme File

  Starting Line is meant to be a Windows shell to replace "Progman", but
  can also be used in conjuction with "Progman" or any other shell.


Features:

  1. A button bar that stores buttons in groups similar to that of "Progman.
     with up to 5 groups and 40 buttons per group.(limited to display
     resolution and button size.) 
     THE REGISTERED VERSION IS ALLOWED UP TO 40 GROUPS

  2. Also UPON YOUR REGISTRATION you will recieve a utillity program
     that will copy all of your existing program manager groups over
     to Starting Line.

  3. Display the current system date and time in various formats.

  4. Display your processor type, free memory, free drive space,
     available system resources, etc.

  5. A quick windows exit button that you may use to exit windows any time.

  6. A Command Line Run Box similar to that of "Progman"



SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  This program will only run under window 3.1 or W.F.W.  3.11.


INSTALLATION
  After having unzipped the Starting Line Files, run "Setup.exe" from the directory
  where the files where unzipped to.  You will be prompted for any further
  information needed by Setup.

  Note: This program requires the file "vbrun300.dll" to be located in your
        windows\system Directory in order to Install and Run correctly.



STARTING LINE HELP
  Starting Line has context sensitive help, so if you get into trouble just
  hit the <F1> key.


DRAG AND DROP
  Starting Line also supports drag and drop from the File Manager, allowing
  Starting Line to configure launch buttons for you automatically.


PLACEMENT
  You may position Starting Line anywhere on your screen simply by dragging and
  dropping.(Drag by either the exit button or the Info. panel display)
  This position will be saved automatically in the "Startlne.ini" file.  


THIS IS THE SHAREWARE VERSION
  We only ask that if you like and use this software that you Register by
  sending $15.00 along with your Name, Address, Phone number, and your
